Well the title says it all, I’d like to have publicly accessible pages, that does NOT show up in the header. The only way to make that happen currently, that I know, is to set the page to “private” – then it’s hidden from the menu, but then other people cannot access it.

I feel this should be a simple fix somehow, but I can’t seem to do it..?

As a bonus, I’d like to be able to make a similar, hidden page, password protected, if possible. If you click the password option when you want to create a page currently, it adds the page to the header regardless.

    Thanks!

    Hey Sparrisen987,

Please remove the page from Appearance > Menu to remove the link from header.

To create password protected pages please check this link https://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Password_Protection

Thanks a lot! It was a simple fix, just in hiding^^

Another fix that should be simple, when you see the result of a google search, below the link that leads to “home”, in google search results, you can read :
    “Home · Process · About · Contact · Research · Portfolio · Examples · Search … Initializing… stage: 500×375 file: http://irisinspire.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/iris-inspire-video2-movie.mp4 autoplay: false preload: none isvideo: true …”

It doesn’t look very enticing – how can I add some cooler, descriptive text instead of this technical jargon?
