 I tried to hide the social bookmarks section for smaller screens by:@media only screen and (max-width: 1240px) { .social_bookmarks { display:none !important; } }in the styles.css of the child theme. 
 Unfortunately it doesnt work. :)
 Can you advise pls?

- A valid username (with full administration capabilities).
- As well as a password for that username.
- permission to deactivate plugins if necessary.
