Hi,
May not be Enfold related, but is there any way I can “hide” an individual post or category from displaying on the side bar > recent posts, or on the blog roll? To clarify, there are times when I want to “hide” a post so I don’t want it to display anywhere unless someone directly accesses the category.
Thanks.
Marshall
I can “play” (back date) with the post dates but is there an easier way?
Actually, I can control what is displayed on the side bar but I have no solution for preventing an individual post to NOT show on the main blog roll. Any ideas?
Hi,
You can add a unique category for the posts that you don’t want to show then configure the Blog Post element option. Select only the categories that you want to show.

Thanks Ismael,
That is how I hide it on the side bar (by not choosing to display that category), but how do I do the same with the main blog page?
Thanks.
Marshall
Hi Marshall,
You need to either use a plugin or don’t select a default blog page from the theme options and then use a blog element with your choice of categories on the “blog” page.
This way you don’t have a default auto generated blog page.
