    the title basically is the issue, hide featured image on Page. I can turn off the featured image in posts but not on a page. I have done this before but can’t figure out how now.

    The issue seems to have solved itself. the original page was made using SiteOrigin Page Builder. It was this page that was displaying the unwanted feature image. after recreating the page with AVIA Layout Builder everything is as it should be.
