Tagged: hide feature image
Hi,
Nice to meet you and thanks for your great theme.
I have an issue when trying to hide the feature image in a blog post. I checked the box in order to do so in the article section. It effectively removes the feature image from the article page, however it also removes the title + changes the style of the whole article.
See here the link to the broken article (hide feature image activated) – https://www.protocode.co/2021/01/04/sanctuar-la-cite-pionniere/
See here a link to a normal article (hide feature image not activated) – https://www.protocode.co/2021/01/04/le-neurosysteme-glass/
Please note that when I reactivate “show the feature image”, the bug is still present.
How can I fix that ?
Thanks a lot,
Hey Benjfdc,
Thank you for the inquiry.
Did you set the posts’ Layout > Featured Image settings to the second option (Hide on single entry)? The checkbox that is supposed to hide the featured image is no longer available in later versions of the theme, and has been transferred in the mentioned settings above.
Best regards,
Ismael
Yes, this is what I did in the article area.
See image here :
The issue is that when doing that it breaks the style of the article + it removes the title
The exact same thing happens if I try to add the following CSS in the article page: .entry-thumbnail { display: none; }
Hi,
Thank you for the inquiry.
The settings will only work when you are using the default or the classic editor. The featured image is not visible in this case because you are using the Advance Layout Builder. You may need to add the featured image manually using any image elements in the builder.
Best regards,
Ismael
