Help, I am trying to work in the back end of my site. I’ve spent hours with godaddy, reset the site, removed some plugins, worked with verizon to check trace. No one can find any problems. I’ve opened the site on chrome, firefox, and safari with no success. I also renamed the htaccess file to htaccess.bak . I get into my admin site but the menus are not working properly. If I try to add a featured image it takes me to the library, i can upload and image, choose from gallery, set featured image, save all changes but i am stuck in the library. It appears that the page is not loading fully. I am still working with godaddy. could this be something that you could help me with or is it an internet issue?
It appears that I have an issue with the Avia layout builder. I’ve disabled all plugins, cleared cache with no success. Please advise…

April 22, 2015 at 8:19 pm #433088Hi segalmedia!
So your having trouble setting the featured images of your pages? Let’s try the following.
1. Deactivate all plugins.
2. Completely delete Enfold from your WordPress theme directory before downloading + uploading a fresh copy from themeforest.
If your still having trouble then send us a WordPress login and we’ll take a look.
Cheers!
ElliottApril 22, 2015 at 8:26 pm #433097Hi Elliot,
Does this mean that I have to rebuild my whole site once I delete the theme and upload and install a fresh copy? That would make me very sad. Here is my site: http://hubholdings.com/
Anything that you can do to prevent me from having to re-do this entire site would be appreciated. I already deactivated all plugins and re-activated bbpress.
Please help as my client wants a teeny tiny change and I really don’t have time to spend hours re-doing.
Regards,
Lisa

You should not lose anything if you have all, if any, customisations to core files in a child theme.

April 24, 2015 at 1:54 am #433846I did everything that you asked but still had the same issues and also error messages. I worked with godaddy and reverted the site to an earlier time before any updates. Everything looks good right now. Please let me know when it is alright to update to the latest version of wordpress, 4.2.
thank you.

April 25, 2015 at 6:29 am #434597Hey!
Not sure why that is happening, did the site still work? Looks like the error message is just about failing to set the correct sidebar.

YigitApril 27, 2015 at 8:21 pm #435574Hi Yigit,
I ended up getting help from godaddy. We reverted back in time, uninstalled the theme, re-downloaded. reinstalled and re-activated. It is working right now. Can you confirm that the theme is compliant with wordpress 4.2. I will not update my theme until I hear from you.
