Hi there-
I have a few questions regarding the Nav area:
1) My client needs to add some html text and buttons to the Nav bar of this theme. A la “Address of company, and a call to action button like “get a quote today!” sort of thing. Ideally, this is to the right of the Page links. I have played around with the presets and it does not look like this is possible. How can we make it work?
2) We are trying to use a mega menu, but is there a way to make the “category” in which pages exist in the drop down NOT a page? In other words, can it be just plain text without a link to a page? It looks like from the WP menu building tool, any item that goes into a menu must be a page, or a post etc.
3) Finally, a quick footer question. I would like a bit more control in our footer. Can I choose to hide the footer socket from wordpress and then add RAW HTML at the bottom of each page using the <footer> tag? Would this solution work?
Link to dev site below in private area for reference. Thank you!!
Hey ottoc,
3) you can edit the footer.php file or add a widget to the footer area and paste the html in there.
2) There is such an option to have different columns and and a title that is not the link in the mega menu.
1) You can add custom links to the menu and then style them as buttons.
If you need further assistance please let us know.
Best regards,
Victoria
