    i did the update as mentioned on your post to 4.5 via the ZIP file and the FULL Site ist DESTROYED

    I even can not log on anymore

    …. to log on to WordPress I had to delete all Enfold files via FTP.
    Luckily I managed to get my backup installed to get the site up again.
    Enfold 4.2 version..

    I´m MORE than happy with your theme, really top – but this update was really not as expected

    Would you mind to help me get it done without having this heart stopping moments anymore.
    Did it as described within your post ….

    Hi,

    Thanks for the login details. If you want us to update your site then we need FTP login details as well along with a verification that you have backups of the site in case something should go wrong.

    Thanks for that, I got the same problem as you when I activated the new version of the theme. I’ve activated the old one for now so your site is ok for now. Do you know which version of PHP you are running on the server? We recommend 7.1 or higher. Also, why are you running an old version of WordPress?

    Hi Rikard,

    thank you for your support on that topic.
    The PhP Version is 7.32. which is the latest one offered by the provider.
    On the WP Version there is no reason to keep it on that level. I saw that as well, but was really scarred to update the WP Version due to my experience with the update on the Theme …
    If the WP Version needs to be updated, fine with me

    Thanks for the info, would you be able to downgrade the PHP version to 7.2? I’m not sure if the PHP version is the problem here but it’s worth a try at least.

    Thanks for that, though I’m still a bit skeptic to your installation, there’s something which is not right about it. When I go to Appearance->Themes I see some warnings for instance, please see private. It might be because of the version of WordPress you are running, or a plugin conflict. Can you start off with updating WordPress itself? I don’t think you should have any problems doing that, but please have backups ready if you should need to roll back.

    Hi,

    sorry for the late response. As asked by you I updated the WordPress Version to 5.1 and tried it myself to update the Theme. It worked absolutely fine.
    I need to activate the personal token, but this should not be a problem …

    So Problem solved. Thank you for your support on that topic!!!! No further help needed.
