My organization previously purchased your Enfold Theme and has been using it for at least 18 months. However, the mobile version has never worked properly. I sought assistance on this forum, but got no response (https://forums.envato.com/t/problems-with-mobile-version-of-enfold-theme/278440). I read that uninstalling and reinstalling the theme might fix the problem, but after uninstalling Enfold from WordPress, I cannot relocate the theme in wordpress to reinstall it. Here is our Enfold Theme Private Token: RkyE1GUPcLpmvfhljJ6gAfMfVcRqoIiL.

I am not the original user that purchased the theme, but I have taken over the management of this website. Can you assist?

    Hey Chas,

We are not active on Envato forums, only here on our own support forum. If you don’t have access to the theme files on Themeforest then I would suggest that you find the person who bought it so that you can access them. Otherwise I would recommend purchasing a new license.

Where can we see your site and could you try to explain the problem you are having a bit further please?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately, I cannot show you the problem on our website, since I cannot reinstall the enfold theme onto the site at this time.

Also, I don’t have FTP access to our server. I have admin access to our WordPress website editor. If I repurchased the Enfold theme, would I need to install it via FTP or would I be able to install it solely via the WordPress editor?

    Thank you in advance,

    Hi,

Thanks for that, I couldn’t see Enfold installed on that site so I couldn’t see which version you are running. But yes, you would likely have to update it manually if the current version is 4.4.1 or below. You could also use a plugin like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/

If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.

After you have updated then try to activate the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options.

Also please read this after you have updated: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Thank you. I repurchased the theme and reinstalled it in the manner you suggested.

Let me know if I should start a new thread, but the mobile version of the website has the same problem that I was trying to repair previously. When viewed, it appears to have HTML code displayed on the screen. Can you help me fix this? Our website is: http://www.atnitribes.org/climatechange

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. Your mobile problem is caused by the JetPack plugin, please uncheck the option in the plugin which generates a mobile version for your site.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
