    Hello
    I am having really weird issues with my blog page and posts. Hoping you can help?

    I have set up the blog page as normal and added 3 posts but I cannot get the setting and layout to change on the page no matter what I do. it’s as if something is blocking the page!

    Also when I click on the blog page itself in the wp-admin dashboard and then navigate to the “view” option at the top it says “view post” instead of “View page” and takes me to a post and not the actual view of the blog page itself! I hope that makes sense?
    it’s driving me mad!

    Can someone assist please? I have taken a screenshot here of the issue http://prntscr.com/q0jsxz – you can clearly see if says /blog in the URL but says “edit post” on the blackl bar at the top of the page!

    Hey Kim,

    It’s likely since you have set that page as your blog page in the theme options, the default template will be used if that is the case, not your custom page. Please try to unset the blog page in the theme options.

    I have set up a new page now called OUR BLOG and will assign that as the default blog page

    Rikard,
    I have now set the blog to “our Blog” which is a new page.
    I set the homepage to “home”
    post page to “our blog”

    When I go to “our Blog” it still shows the page as post instead of page – you can see here http://prntscr.com/q1p191

    I want to change the size of the font on the entries but can’t access the page to do this? It keeps taking me to a specific blog post.

    Can you assist please?

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

    We reset the Settings > Reading options to default, and set the blog page in the theme options. We also adjusted the Blog Layout to the last option so that you can use the advance layout builder to adjust the content of the blog page. You can now edit the blog page manually. (see private field)
