Hi,
I have just launched a new website (It’s going real slow too, but I will look into that). I have a page using many Color Sections with background images. With heading and text content within each one. But the content is not shown. It worked during testing. I am not sure I viewed that page between updating to WP4.1
I will put the page URL etc below in the private content section. I hope you can take a look as I now have a “blank page” other than background images.

Yes your page is loading very slow for me. If deactivating all plugins and uploading a fresh copy of the theme does not help then try adding this to your custom CSS.
.js_active .av-minimum-height .container { opacity: 1 !important; transition: opacity 0.6s ease-in 0s; }

ElliottJanuary 16, 2015 at 12:27 am #380541Thanks Elliot for that.
It won’t solve the problem though of this particular page not showing the text content. Can you take a look at that also?
(I know the site is running slow and there are 500 Internal Server Errors which my host is trying to fix so will look at your suggestion once they come back to me and say that is fixed)So there are two issues here: Speed and Page Content Not being Displayed.
Thanks,
HJanuary 16, 2015 at 9:15 pm #381081Hi!
I don’t see it in your source code. Did you remove it?
I think that should be working. Add it in Dashboard > Enfold > General Settings > Quick CSS.
Cheers!
ElliottJanuary 19, 2015 at 9:21 pm #382090Sorry Elliott, I thought you gave me the code above to help with the speed issue. I didn’t realise this was to do with the content of the page. I will add it and get back to you.
January 19, 2015 at 10:27 pm #382135I need to check the process of doing this Elliott. This is a live website we are talking about. Are you suggesting I download the whole theme (I see there is an update released today) and install it again? or is the best process to unzip it and upload via FTP?
Will I lose all my settings? Colors etc, custom layout etc? or will everything be exactly the same? (but with the page fixed) ?
Should I de-activate all plugins before uploading a fresh copy of the theme or can I keep them on?
I will wait for your response before doing anything.
Thanks,

No, those won’t be lost, you can try updating from the Dashboard if you don’t want to do the FTP/unzipping process. It’s worth mentioning that although the update includes various improvements it’s not guaranteed that your initial problems will be fixed (the culprit may be another thing).
Have you already tried disabling all third-party plugins?
Regards,
JosueJanuary 20, 2015 at 1:38 am #382221Yikes, it is indeed another plugin – SuperSocializer (which I was only using for Facebook Comments). Disabling it makes the page work. Thank you.
I see time and time again, the advice to disable plugins and test. This is the first time I think I have come across a real compatibility issue. There don’t seem to be many FB commenting plugins out there (most out of date). I assume this is because FB are always changing their API etc. Even the Official FB plugin has more 1 star ratings than 5 :(I am still concerned about the speed of my site though :( what can I do ?

Use this tool to check what you can do to improve your pageload:

JosueJanuary 20, 2015 at 12:12 pm #382385Doesn’t help me @Josue.
It’s far too technical for me.
All I know form that is that my site is slower than 94% of others tested using that tool :(January 20, 2015 at 9:55 pm #382728Hi,
I’d suggest reducing the number of images present on the page, also try using a caching plugin:
