    Hello Can you help??
I’m not sure what happened because everything was working fine and then since yesterday whenever we load up an image they are a blank grey block and you cannot see them.

When you click on edit it shows up with
“Image data does not exist. Please re-upload the image.”

I also noticed that a few other images in the media folder were also missing but they had a different logo.

I did some digging and found that the folder permissions had been changed and when I changed the folder permissions the older images were then visible.
I tried uploading new images but it just doesnt work. Im not sure if somehow the paths have been altered or where I should check or what the standard should be.

If anyone can help that would be great. I did find a link where someone had the same problem but it seemed to have been cleared up with email and login etc.

I can mail my admin id and password

    Hi mecdesign!

Could you please provide us with a temporary admin login so that we can take a closer look? You can post the details here as a private reply.

    Cheers!

    Hello,
Im not sure what happened but I reset the folder permissions (which in turn fixed some of the images).
I then found an article about the size of the image being the problem (over 50kb etc) anyway I tried that and it all worked, even the images that were over 50kb and also the ones that I had previously (1hour before) tried to load without any luck.
Not sure what the problem was because I didn’t do anything to fix it.
I put it down to folder permisions or the fact that my provider might have done an update or something.

    Thanks
