Hello.
I need help for WordPress and Enfold upgrade. I’m using old verson of WordPress and Enfold 4.4.1
I can not anymore update some pages….
Thanks a lot.May 12, 2022 at 6:39 pm #1351599Hi Xavier,
The update to 4.9.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
Also please read this after you have updated: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/If you need help with updating, then please post admin WordPress and FTP login details in private. Also please verify that you have backups of your site.
Best regards,

Thanks for that. The WordPress login details are working, but I can’t access your hosting account:
Problème de connexion : Identifiant ou mot de passe invalide
1. Veuillez vérifier que l’identifiant renseigné est bien sous la forme LWS-XXX où XXX représente une suite de chiffres (ne pas renseigner l’adresse email lié à votre compte LWS)
2. Vérifiez que le mot de passe que vous utilisez est bien valide et correspond bien à l’espace client auquel vous souhaitez vous connecter si vous avez plusieurs comptes chez LWS
3. Si vous avez un doute sur le mot de passe à renseigner, nous vous invitons à réinitialiser votre mot de passe en cliquant iciPlease create an FTP account for us, and post the login details in private.

Thanks for that, those details work. I have no clue how to create an FTP account in there though. If you don’t know either, then please refer to your hosting company’s documentation or support. Once you have working FTP login details, then post them here in private.

Thanks for that. I’ve uploaded the new version of the theme to the folder in private. I’m a bit hesitant to activate it though, since the WordPress version you are running is very old too. Could you update WordPress first of all, then change the current enfold folder to enfold_old, then rename the enfold_new folder to simply enfold? Please make sure that you have backups of the site before doing this.

RikardMay 17, 2022 at 2:31 pm #1352082Hi,
The warning you are getting after updating PHP is likely not caused by Enfold. This might help you out though: https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/296937/constant-wp-cron-lock-timeout-already-defined-in-htdocs-wp-config-php
