    PLEASE HELP!
My client just saw this on a site that has been up and running for months. I have not changed the files recently, but last time I looked at the admin and site it was all fine. Now the site cphfilmcompany.dk returns this error:
Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 27262976) (tried to allocate 428729 bytes) in /home/cphfilm/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 275
and if I try to get into the wp admin the errors come up in any number of files connected to some plugins, especially it seems good old WPML.
I really hoped this is a server problem, but now I see there may be some issue with the plugins? I can’t access the admin so I can’t see what’s going on, although I can access the files on the server. I am not a coder.
Can you help me with this?? I am also tyring to contact our hosting service but maybe you can see where the error is.
    thanks so much!
    Nancy

    Hi Munford!

Please try to increase the allocated memory to 128M: http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP
You can connect via FTP and change the name of Plugins folder in wp-content folder to deactivate all active plugins

    Best regards,
    Yigit

    Hey!

    1) Maybe the WPML changed some code with the latest update and the plugin requires more memory.

    2) Kriesi added some code and Enfold 2.9.x requires slightly more memory than 2.8 or older theme versions.

    3) Maybe some other plugins were activated in the meantime or the configuration/settings affect the memory usage (additional code is loaded, etc.).

    Regards,
    Peter

    Hi!

Yes, the backup was probably created with a php script and a php error may affect this script too.

    Cheers!

there are other backups on the server…it will be possible to restore the site from one of those?

    Hey!

Yes this should be possible but I guess the host support team will use these backups anyway if the last backup doesn’t work.

    Best regards,
    Peter

    Hi!

No, probably not. But I’m not the server adinistrator and your best bet is to send all these questions to the host support team.

    Best regards,
    Peter
