    Hi – My client lost their password for admin rights to their site. I had a new one generated and an email sent to her, all it says is that her password has been updated…but doesn’t give her the password. I emailed her the new generated password, but she doesn’t want to login with it. She wants me to go in and create a more simple password for her and email that to her. However, there is no way for me to go in and create a more simple password for her. If I log out of my admin account and login as her, with the new generated password, I still can’t update it to be a more simple password.

    This makes no sense to me as I’ve usually been able to go in an updated the temporary generated password with something that I can remember……

    ??? I explained it all above. Was there something you didn’t understand? I can’t create my own password nor can my client. She has to use the generated password and she doesn’t want to do that……

    My password for is fine. I don’t need to change it. But my client does….and doesn’t want to use the temporary generated password. Also, when I created a temporary generated password, it just sent her an email saying her password was chagned…with no link or update to what the new password is…..

    I really am at a loss here. Does anyone know why I can’t create a custom password for website Admins in Enfold built websites? Or why an email generated to a new user does not contain a link or any information on how a new user can get logged in? My client has been pinging me all day about this problem and I do not have an answer….

    Hi gwinenvato!

    What Basilis means is that your concern is not related to the Enfold Theme!

    The password management is a part of WordPress ;-)

    or maybe some plugins…
