GuestHi,
I’ve tried to upgrade my wp site to php 7.2, but I am using a old Enfold theme which it’s not compatible with php 7.2.
Could you please let me know how can I get the most recent version of Enfold theme and how much would cost?

If you have your API Key and purchase code from ThemeForest then you should have access to auto-updates.
Best regards,

GuestI don’t have the API key or the purchase code because I didn’t created the website. I am trying to find this info… but I will probably need to create a new account. Will I be able to auto-update in these circumstances?

Thanks for contacting us!
You can purchase a license of Enfold here – https://themeforest.net/item/enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme/4519990

GuestCan’t I use the ThemeForest username and API to auto-update from WP admin > Enfold > Theme Update?
August 28, 2019 at 10:35 am #1131540Hey,
Envato API was updated and API keys are not working any more.
Now you would need to generate a Personal Token – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/#how-to-generate-a-envato-personal-token to receive auto updates but they would only work on Enfold versions 4.5 and newer therefore you would need to update the theme manually first and then insert your Personal Token to receive auto updates for upcoming releases :)Cheers!

GuestThank you! How can I update the theme without risking to lose the settings the theme has now?

GuestIs it OK to just delete the existing Enfold folder from wp-content/themes/ and upload the fresh one (downloaded and extracted) from themeforest? Or is there a special procedure in order to keep the existing settings?

GuestI managed to make the updates, but I get this warning at the bottom of each page: Warning: session_write_close() expects exactly 0 parameters, 1 given in /wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 286 . I use the latest version of WP and the latest Enfold theme. Let me know. Thanks!
August 29, 2019 at 3:59 pm #1131921Hey,
Could you please update WordPress to the latest version as well? Mentioned file is a WordPress core file and not theme file.
Regards,

GuestAlso.. under wp-content/uploads/dynamic-avia/ I used to have enfold.css and index.php now I also have 2 avia-merged-styles files and 2 avia-footer-scripts files. Why were those generated?
August 29, 2019 at 4:17 pm #1131947Hi,
Have you tried de-activating all active plugins and checked if that helps? If not, please do so.
If that too does not help, please register to our support forum using your purchase code – https://kriesi.at/support/register/, login and then post FTP and WP admin logins here privately so we can look into it :)
Best regards,

GuestI’ve updated /events_upcoming.php to events_upcoming.bak which fixed the warning. Also.. I use php 7.1 at this point. I will try on php 7.3 too.
