Good morning,
I recently updated http://www.fmis.co.uk to v 3.2.3 of the brilliant Enfold theme. It solved a couple of issues I was having, but one quirk I did notice is that the theme suddenly stopped rendering the heavy ASCII tick correctly, so I have had to convert all the ticks to the light ASCII tick instead which doesn’t have the same impact.
Any idea why it does this and is there anything I can do to change it?
Thanks as always for the help!
FMIS.

Can you take a screenshot of where it’s displaying at? I checked your homepage but didn’t see anything out of the ordinary.

Thanks for getting back to me. Here is a screen shot of how the ticks render when using the heavy ascii check mark (✔ — &# 10004 ;) as opposed to the light check mark that I have to change to (✓ — &# 10003 ;)
August 6, 2015 at 3:14 pm #483926Hey!
I don’t see them anywhere on your site so if you could send us a link to the exact page then we could take a look.
It seems like it’s because of the font your using though.

I put the screen shot in as I had changed all the characters to the one that does work on the live site. To help with checking I amended the first tick back again in the toggle below.

Thanks.
August 7, 2015 at 1:02 pm #484510Hey!
you are talking about the check marks in your layerslider, right?
Can you provide us admin access, so we can test and see what’s going on? Please try to deactivate all plugins to see if things get better.Best regards,
AndyAugust 7, 2015 at 4:43 pm #484607Hi Andy,
Thanks for the suggestion. Turns out it is Contact Form 7 that is causing it, no idea why, but I’d rather keep the forms than have the heavy ticks :)
Cheers for the great support as always!
August 7, 2015 at 7:50 pm #484664Hey!
alright. Glad you found the reason. Maybe you could contact plugin’s author to see if they have a solution for you.
Let us know in a new ticket if you have some more questions or issues related to the theme. We are happy to assist.
Best regards,
