The Headline Rotator glitches whenever I leave the site up on the home page and leave it open for a while or go to another page and return to the tab, it automatically starts to do this. Any ideas on why this would happen?
Hey bemodesign,
Thank you for the inquiry.
We don’t see anything unusual with the headline rotator on the home page. Could you please provide a screenshot of the issue?
Best regards,
Ismael
See attached. If you leave the home page open for a bit in a Browser, and go to another page or another browser, and then come back… the headliner rotator will show broke and off. Please test it yourselves. I tried it on several browsers and it does mess up after it is open for a bit.
Is this a “refresh rate” issue or anything like that? I need to explain to customer why this is happening and if we need to take this off or not.
thanks!
Hi,
Thank you for the screenshot.
We can’t reproduce the issue on our end. Does this happen on page load, or only when the page is left unattended? We left the page for at least 5 minutes, and the rotator is still displaying correctly.
Best regards,
Ismael
Happens when left unattended and then return. I’ve tested on all browsers and phone, with other people also. Here is Safari after 5-10 minutes and returning to window.
Hi,
Thank you for the update.
This is what we see after leaving the page unattended for more than 12 minutes, as shown on the stopwatch. Please check the screenshot in the private field. In my opinion, this might not be much of an issue, as the user will probably navigate to a different page or refresh the current one if they leave the home page unattended for a while.
Best regards,
Ismael
