I recently completed some updates to my site and now my headline rotator will not display any entries passed the 1st item.
Any idea how I can fix this?

AndyMarch 29, 2016 at 12:29 pm #604425Hello,
Have you tried disabling all third-party plugins to see if it gets fixed?

No – I have not tried uninstalling all 3rd party plug-ins yet – the newest one is required, so the rotator will be going before it does.
Thx

Can you please firstly update Enfold to the latest version 3.5.1 – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

March 30, 2016 at 12:37 am #604857Please also provide us an access to the /ns/ WP install.
March 30, 2016 at 1:01 am #604865See private – these are the only 2 logins that I have – or what else can I send? The FTP should provide full access to all of my files, no?
March 30, 2016 at 1:07 am #604868When logged into the FTP all of the files are accessible through the ns/ folder. Unless I’m missing something.
March 30, 2016 at 2:13 am #604875Seems to be fixed now, the culprit of the issue was this plugin named “Circle Menu For Enfold Theme” which was including jQuery when there one already, this led to the conflict. I’ve modified the custom plugin so it uses the jQuery included by the theme / WP.
March 30, 2016 at 3:40 am #604896Thank you so much! I really appreciate the hard work!
Is it possible for me to create a child theme, update to the current Enfold theme, and continue to update the child theme in the future without obliterating my site? I creates a child theme, but it causes all of my changes to be lost – no clue how to get around that. Did some research, but no luck.
Thanks again
March 30, 2016 at 8:51 am #605033Hi,
You can import your settings from the parent theme under Enfold–>Import/Export. If you don’t see your settings applied immediately then toggle some options and save again and you should see them appear.
Best regards,
RikardApril 1, 2016 at 7:42 pm #606835Thanks – I created a child theme and imported the settings, which resulted in everything going back to normal.
How do I go about updating to the new version of Enfold though? If I update the parent theme, and then complete the same process, I suspect it will import the non-configured settings. Just a little confused about the process side of this.
April 1, 2016 at 8:13 pm #606846You won’t lose the theme settings when updating the parent theme, they’re bound to the current theme activated (the child one).
Cheers!
JosueApril 12, 2016 at 11:58 pm #612237Thanks.
Since updating to WP 4.5, the text rotator has become frozen again – is there an easy fix for this? Usernames/password that were sent privately before are still the same, if you care to take a peek.
