    While updating my site my “Contact us” heading suddenly shrank and will not change size regardless of what size I turn it into. Any ideas?

    Hey John,

    Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    Login credentials include:

    • The URL to the login screen.
    • A valid username (with full administration capabilities).
    • As well as a password for that username.
    • permission to deactivate plugins if necessary.

    Best regards,
    Jordan

    Thank you!

    Also, while you’re in there, if you can see anything that might cause hal the site to delete itself while updating or why the update button is greyed out at times when trying to update, that would be wonderful. I’ve posted it before but it was never answered. Sometimes I will be changing a lot and then I can’t push the update button, causing me to have to do everything in tiny steps.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

    We checked for the issue. A plugin conflict may be one of the reason for this issue.
    To find which plugin is causing the conflict please follow these steps:

    1. Go to your plugins page > Deactivate all active Plugins
    2. Update WordPress and Enfold to latest version if you have not.
    3. Make sure all the plugins are updated.
    4. If the problem does not persist when plugins are turned off, activate one plugin at a time and refresh until you find the plugin in conflict.

    The update button is grey as there are no updates available.

    If there is no conflict with plugins. Please enable custom css class support kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/turn-on-custom-css-field-for-all-alb-elements/

    Add a custom class to the heading and use the below css in Quick CSS

    .custom-heading {
      font-size:60px!important;
    }

    Best regards,
    Vinay

    Thank you for looking at this.

    Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like the Plugins are the issue. Even deactivated the font doesn’t seem to change back. I also added the Quick CSS and no changes.

    Any other ideas?

    ***UPDATE BUTTON***
    I can start a separate thread on this if necessary but the update button I was referring to is in the Advanced Layout Page when you’re making changes to the site. On multiple occasions, I will make a few changes and then nothing has registered to allow me to update the page. So I’m forced to hitting update and waiting for every single change. And on days where I have a lot of changes to make, this takes 2+ hours when it could easily take 20 minutes.

    OK! I figured it out!

    It has something to do with the white space above that separates the color spaces. I removed that and the correct size returned. Added it back and it shrunk again. So there’s something about having a separation there specifically?

    Forgot to add that I didn’t fix it. Just found what’s causing it. Any ideas on how to make that work? I need some sort of separation between the two

    Hi,

    The white space should not affect the font size. I checked for the issue with a white space element and the font size changes properly.

    Could you please try again and let us know if there is any issue.

    Best regards,
    Vinay

    Hi, I think we’re having some miscommunication.

    The separator was placed in between the color spaces. Not inside the contact form.

    There’s something going on with the separator and the heading in the Contact Form. This only started after I add the recommended Vendors color space ABOVE the contact form. Before that it was fine. I’ve attached pictured to help.

    Do you guys offer a live chat by chance or is there any way to get on a call?

    Thank you.

    Hi,

    The “contactform” section is outside the wrap_all container, that’s why the elements inside are not responsive. This is a small glitch in the advance layout builder but it is easily fix by moving the elements or set of elements inside their own color sections. We moved the serapator above the contact form inside a color section.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
