Since yesterday, I can no longer change the font type for the default headings. In the preview (general styling) the font is displayed correctly, but not on the pages themselves. My default was the uploaded “Archivo”. This worked fine until yesterday. After the necessary change of the domain it did not work anymore. No matter which font I choose, nothing changes. Adjustments in QuickCSS or in the advanced styling have no effect either. This problem has not occurred in any project in all these years.

NikkoMay 31, 2021 at 2:45 pm #1303195Hi Nikko,
looks like you fixed it. Thank you.
Strangely enough, I have exactly the same problem with the current project. Changing the font type for the headings has no effect. It remains the default font, instead of the desired Quattrocento (Serif). Unfortunately, since I didn’t get any feedback, I don’t know where the error was. Thanks for the update. I’m not sure where you have sent the login token? Please post it here in private, so that all moderators have access to it.

RikardJune 3, 2021 at 12:25 pm #1303752Done.
June 4, 2021 at 3:55 am #1303924Hi emandu,
You’ll need to send the temporary login link which should look similar to the link in private content.
You can click on the link icon in Temporary Logins, here’s a screenshot: https://imgur.com/qF48V3MBest regards,
NikkoJune 24, 2021 at 2:44 pm #1307319Sent it several times. Okay … again via private content
June 25, 2021 at 7:03 am #1307400Hi,
Thanks for that. I checked your settings under Enfold->Advanced Styling, and they seem to be corresponding with what I see on the front end. H1 and H2 tags are using the Quatrocento font, and H3 are using Quicksand. Are you changing your setting in Advanced Styling, or in General Styling?
Best regards,
RikardJune 25, 2021 at 1:18 pm #1307431Set fonts in Advanced Styling to “Standard” now. Headlines should be Quattrocento, but as you can see from the enclosed Screenshot, nothing changed
Cleared cache several times.Best Regards, Jens
June 27, 2021 at 4:06 am #1307551Hi Jens,
Thanks for the update. I had the font in question installed locally, and I see that it’s not working on your site when I disabled my local font. I can’t reproduce the problem on a test site though, please see private. Other Google fonts seems to work fine on your site as well, which is a bit strange. I’ll ask the rest of the team to have a look as well, to see if they can see what is going wrong.

RikardJune 28, 2021 at 9:46 am #1307695Hi Rikard,
just set the headline font to Alice and EB Garamond to give it a try, but nothing changed.

JensJune 28, 2021 at 2:34 pm #1307757Hey Jens,
I could not reproduce the issue on my installation either. Could you please post FTP logins here privately as well? I do not think the issue is related to older version of the theme however I would like to update the theme to rule out that possibility :)
Best regards,
YigitJune 28, 2021 at 3:24 pm #1307765Just updated the theme, but I don’t see any changes.
Nevertheless, FTP access in private.Best Regards,
JensJuly 2, 2021 at 1:00 pm #1308489Hi,
Sorry for the late reply and thank you for your patience. I was not able to login into your site please update the login token, but are you setting the font in the Advanced Styling and in the Headline element? I saw an issue where the font was set in the Advanced Styling and the color was set in a text element making the element use the “inherit” font rule which showed the wrong font, once the option in the element was removed the correct font showed, perhaps your issue is similar?Best regards,
MikeJuly 2, 2021 at 1:22 pm #1308494Renewed.
Actually font-faces are not set in advanced styling.Best Regards,
JensJuly 3, 2021 at 3:29 pm #1308580Hi,
Thank you for the login update and the ftp access, so I was able to correct the issue on your site by capitalizing the font name in your merged css file on your server, for some reason this makes a difference on your server.
I checked this situation on my test server and the font is showing correctly with it in lower caps, so the only thing I can imagine is this is a server encoding issue, but I’m only guessing.
So you should be able to clear your browser cache and see the correct font now, but this may change again if you make any theme changes and the merged css file is updated, if so I recommend adding this css to your WordPress > Customize > Additional CSS field, not the Quick CSS.h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6, #top .title_container .main-title, tr.pricing-row td, #top .portfolio-title, .callout .content-area, .avia-big-box .avia-innerbox, .av-special-font, .av-current-sort-title, .html_elegant-blog #top .minor-meta, #av-burger-menu-ul li { font-family: 'Quattrocento' !important; }
Best regards,
MikeJuly 5, 2021 at 9:43 am #1308731Hi Mike,
In the meantime, my client has opted for a sans-serif font, but it’s really good to know where a possible, technical problem lies. Thanks for the detailed explanations, I will pass this on to my hoster so that the next project will run smoothly.Again thank you very much. As always, the best theme-support!
