for a client of mine, HEB Media Productions, I get weird search results in Google, such as “File: https:/xxxx.nl/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/xxxxxxx.mp4 00:00.
This particular file is the video-background in the first content-section.
Naturally to say, this is a poor listing in google’s search results and my client is upset with this listing. How do I improve this?

Hi Victoria, I actually already followed step 1 of the woorkup tutorial. Oddly, sometimes I find the mediafiles in the SERP, some other days I don’t.. it seems totally random at best. Any clue?
would you recommend to perhaps disallow media-files?

This is not the theme issue and the decision is totally up to you or your client. If it’s bad that the media is indexed, then you need to disallow it completely.
