    Hello-

    I have tried very unsuccessfully to find the right CSS combination that will allow me to make the header area (behind the larger logo I have loaded) transparent. Note that this is only for the normal header. The sticky header right now is perfect.

    Please see this screenshot: http://imgur.com/eSURtFv

    and thank you for any help!

    a screenshot is not enough to help you – a real link is best.
    If you don’t want to make it public – bring it to private content of the thread you wrote. But then you have to wait til mods are here

    Hi,

    Have you tried turning on Header visibility and transparency in the page?

    Best regards,
    Sarah

    Yes I tried that first- in the main settings. The issue is that I would like this global. I have custom post types that would not have the option to check it per page as well as the fact that this is for a client and I dont want them to have to check it for every page.

    Is there a blip of CSS code that would simply make it transparent globally?

    Hi nketola,

    It is set globally. Do you have pages where it is transparent and where it is not?

    Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look.

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Yes it is set globally. But on my custom post page the option will not even show. I was just hoping for CSS to modify the code globally.

    Hi nketola,

    Could you post a link to your custom post page as well please.

    Best regards,

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

    Please add this css code in the Quick CSS field.

    #header_main_alternate {
        background: #232323;
    }

    Looks like you added a background image to the header. It’s not in the screenshot before.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
