header settings on blog page

I have same issue as

what is happening
and what is correct fix
?

update:
removed it on my blog listing page (deselected blog from theme settings and WP reading settings)
I can not remove it from an individual blog post

Update 2:
edited
Single Post (single.php)
removed if( get_post_meta….
and that got rid of header

What is it that I am missing here so that i am not editing php
