Hey guys,
just a quick one – my header pic is gone. I put in with easy slider and I cannot find the reason why. Plugin correlations??
Probably its damn easy.
Thanks Stephan
November 5, 2015 at 12:55 pm #530739The header pic of the homepage I should add.
November 6, 2015 at 3:48 pm #531475Hey!
AndyNovember 6, 2015 at 6:22 pm #531614Hi Andy,
Plugins deaktiviert. Nichts.

November 7, 2015 at 12:25 pm #531842Hey Andy,

November 9, 2015 at 2:14 pm #532578Hi!
Can you please try updating Enfold to the latest version 3.4.1 – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/ and overwrite all files? There is JS error in console currently
Best regards,
YigitNovember 9, 2015 at 4:01 pm #532687Hi Yigit,
thanks for reaching out. Where did you see JS error?
Updated to 3.4.1 but the issue is still there.

November 9, 2015 at 4:16 pm #532703November 9, 2015 at 9:13 pm #532887Hey,
and what did I do to cause this error? I have no clue how to find out.
I didn’t change that much and the pic was already there a week and a half ago.
Can you lend a hand?
Best Stephan
November 10, 2015 at 3:50 pm #533362Hi!
try to delete all theme files completely via FTP before getting a fresh copy from your themeforest account. Don’t use any plugins while testing and make sure cache (also plugin’s cache!!) is cleared.
Best regards,
AndyNovember 10, 2015 at 6:07 pm #533514Hey Andy,
Was tun?

November 10, 2015 at 8:12 pm #533638Hey!
AndyNovember 11, 2015 at 4:43 pm #534190Hey Andy,
yes, Cashing of Cashing Plugin was enabled after I did the complete delete of the theme by FTP, uploaded it while all the cache was already cleared and all the plugins were deactivated.
It’s not that I am a complete fool :-). But I need to find a solution for that. Disabling or deactiving the cashing plugin doesnt change the outcome.
What can I do practically NOW? I don’t get it by now how this behaviour of not showing the slider pic is influenced.
Hope you can lend a hand.
(Note: Write in english Andy if someone wants to dive in times when you are not available.)
Best Stephan
November 11, 2015 at 4:44 pm #534191BTW you can answer still in german. For me thats ok.
November 12, 2015 at 10:46 am #534646Hhhmmmm, deleted the CHILD-THEME, and voila – the slider worked,
B U T
when I activate my own SHERPAZ MAIN menue – the header picture goes away !!!!
Can you support from here?
Thank you
StephaanNovember 12, 2015 at 10:49 am #534647The SHERPAZ MAIN menu has a lot of individual links. Could it be responsible in some ways for that behaviour?
November 12, 2015 at 2:08 pm #534742Deleting all those created “individual links” in the menu allow the slider to show the pic.
November 12, 2015 at 2:14 pm #534746Hey!
I can see that you have built a new menu called “SHERPAZ MAIN NEW” and your image is showing up for me fine. Can you confirm?
Did you ask your host if they are using any kind of caching on your server?
Regards,
AndyNovember 13, 2015 at 8:10 pm #535707Hey Sir,
yes, that is exactly what I have written.
No I didn’t. Why do ask? Can it be that somehow the theme has problems with 15 to 20 individual links structured in the menu, or that something in the links avoided displaying the pic?
Strange anyway.
Best Stephan
November 16, 2015 at 3:35 pm #536534Hey!
I ask because if your host is using some kind of caching on your server, then this could cause this issue.
However, I checked again your website and slider is working fine for me now. is it fixed four you?
Let us know if you still need help with this issue and if yes send us a (test) link, where we can see it.Best regards,
AndyNovember 17, 2015 at 9:56 am #537189Hey Andy,
this becomes some kind of nightmare and definitely it seems we have to go deeper here. The slider is ok for now, but we still do not know the cause for this. NOW, I added three icons under the easy slider with some text, which were shown and now are gone also. I can see them on the indivdiual page in the dashboard in the backend but they were not displayed on the front. Makes me sick.
So you pointed to the fact that hosts uses some kind of caching. Can I isolate that a littlle bit more to make it work?
Because what I do not understand is, how that caching influence the pages to NOT SHOW THE CONTENT.
Is it that systems forget to deliver information?
And can I completely exclude it’s not caused by the theme in combination with some third party plugin OR with some functionality issues like it seems it was with the MENUE WITH TOO MANY INDIVDIUAL LINKS?
Thank you so much for your support. Appreciate honestly.
Best Stephan

November 17, 2015 at 12:38 pm #537253So I contacted Namecheap on that issue and they said they can exclude server issues and the path to the icons is not specified in the code of the website. Can you work with that? We discussed hotlinking and mod security but it all resultet in that fact, that the specification wasnt found.
Can you support from here.Thanks
StephanNovember 17, 2015 at 11:41 pm #537702Hi!
Try again to completely delete all theme files via FTP, before getting the newest theme version (Enfold v3.4.3.) from your themeforest account.
Are we allowed to deactivate all your plugins temporarily? for testing purposes?
Cheers!
AndyNovember 18, 2015 at 11:15 am #537952Hey Andy, yes sure. Displaying title is not working also here: http://sherpaz.de/datenschutz/.
Will do so with the FTP.
Think in the next 4 hours.

November 19, 2015 at 11:14 am #538865Hey!
I deactivated all your plugins and titles are displaying fine for me on your Datenschutz page (s. first screenshot).
Your frontpage is displaying fine for me as well (s. second screenshot).
Can you confirm?
Best regards,
AndyNovember 19, 2015 at 1:15 pm #538932Hey Andy,
So what I can confirm is that the three icon area is back. Do I now have to active plugins one by one to find out what plugin doesnt allow your icons to be displayed?
The Datenschutz title was the thing that I had missed and its still not there.
Best Stephan
November 19, 2015 at 1:45 pm #538950Hey!
about plugins: yes, exactly.
What do you mean? I checked your backend and cannot find any title you are referring to when editing Datenschutz page.
Best regards,
