    When I apply Phone Number/Extra info under Extra Elements it appears in the correct place but knocks out the logo and menu which appear to be floating over my image carousel – and also does something strange to my logo which seems to be enlarged. I’ve managed to achieve the correct view before so don’t understand why it’s knocking it out now.

    (By accident managed to hit ‘Reset all Options’ yesterday, rookie, rookie mistake. V embarrassed!)

    Hi Rikard, odd I thought I’d set WP to carry out automatic theme updates.
    Anyhoo have done the update and it’s still the same.
    Any ideas? thanks.

    Try disabling all active plugins to see if there might not be style conflict occurring.

    Hi, I only have Yoast plugin so I can’t see how that would affect style…but have tried switching it off and still the same result.

    I’ve isolated the problem to ‘Phone number or Small info text’ – when I use this option to add my contact email is when the problem occurs.

    Just having the social icons is fine – all behaves normally. I’ve even tried adding Quick CSS to reduce the size of the Small Info Text but no joy.

    As I said, I used this field previously and have on other sites I created with no problem.

    Any other suggestions are welcome.

    Hi this is now resolved. I have no idea why it’s no longer doing it but if I ever find out why I’ll post it!

    There’s an extra blank line in top created.
    Which knocks down the header with logo en menu over the slider.

    Hi vliesenco – just to add that the problem I had resolved itself. It happened immediately after I’d run updates to WP and Enfold.

    When it initially happened I spent ages trying to figure out what I’d done wrong, but actually I hadn’t done anything wrong.
    The problem was occurring when I inserted details in Extra Elements, so Enfold > Header > Extra Elements – this was for email ‘contact’ details which would appear next to the Instagram icon, top right of my page. When I removed this Extra Element everything went back to normal.

    Anyway, after a day of trying to resolve the problem I left it and the next day all appeared to be fine. My conclusion was that when I had updated Enfold theme and then updated WP there was a little time for the updates to resolve themselves (possibly a time delay thing with my service provider), however, even though I’d isolated where the problem was occurring I never found an actual solution as it resolved itself.
