I’ve seen some webs made using enfold have a copy of the header in the socket (footer) besides the copyright.
How can I do that?January 8, 2014 at 1:29 am #206545Hi fjrichart!
Do you mean adding social icons to socket in footer? If so, please see this post https://kriesi.at/support/topic/footer-socket-question/#post-193649
If not, please elaborateCheers!
YigitJanuary 9, 2014 at 10:16 am #207312You can see the socket that I ‘d like here: http://cristinarichart.com/header-and-footer/
I want to add not only the social icons but also the tags of the main and second menu.
As for the social icons I’ve done what your post says and the social icons appear stick to the copyright, not on the right side of the socket.January 9, 2014 at 3:47 pm #207477Hi!
Please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under Styling tab
#socket .social_bookmarks { float: right; }
It will move social icons on the footer to right.
Then you go to Appearance > Menus and check “Enfold Footer Menu” in Menu Settings http://i.imgur.com/SKwnMPx.jpg to display menu in footer socketRegards,
YigitJanuary 9, 2014 at 10:06 pm #207657Thanks. It worked but Appearance>Menu allows you only to have the main or the secondary menu in the footer. I’ve chosen the main but then I don’t have the “contact us” in the footer because it is in the secondary menu . Can I add a link in the footer so that people can click on it and go to the contact form?
January 10, 2014 at 12:55 am #207716Hi!
You can select your secondary menu and check Enfold Footer Menu on that menu so it will be displayed on the footer socket. http://i.imgur.com/k5SSqF9.jpg
If you would like to display menu items that are in your main menu and also additional menus, you can create a third menu and check “Enfold Footer Menu” on that menuRegards,
YigitJanuary 10, 2014 at 9:37 am #207884Sorry Yigit I already tried that but it doesn’t work like that. If you have already selected one menu to be in the footer when you try to add another one it advices you that footer has been linked to the other menu and it you finally do it wordpress unlinks the first menu. You only can have one menu linked to the footer.
So the question is : Can I add a link or a button saying “contact us” in the footer so that people can click on it and go to the contact form?January 10, 2014 at 11:26 am #207920 -
