Hi
We are creating a new website where we use Enfold and The Events Calendar, which is recommended by you.
Now, on every page we have a header.
Is it also possible to have a header on the events overview and on a single event?
How we can do that?
See example in the private content.
Thank you very much.
Best regards

The header is the area where the menu and logo are situated. Are you referring to the banner image?

Yes, I refer to the banner image ;-)

Well, the event list page is a category page and it is rendered with the /enfold/archive.php file, you need to copy this file to the child theme and make your changes there.

And how we can add a banner image to this /enfold-child/archive.php ?
Do you have code examples?
Best regards

You can have a look here
https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-add-a-background-image-in-wordpress/
and if you created event categories you can add banners to the category too without modifying the code.Best regards,

Thanks for the link. But this is for background images?
I like to have a color-section with an image on the events overview (/events/list) and on a single event (/event/jahreskonzert-2020/) like on the other pages i.e. /jungblaeser/ see first post.
How can I do that?

Unfortunately, it would require quite some time and customization of the theme to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support. However, if it’s really important for you to get this done, you can always hire a freelancer to do the job for you :)

Thanks for your response.
No problem. But perhaps, you can give me a hint, which files we will have to customize to achieve this? Can we reach this with Enfold shortcodes in the templates? Any hints?
Regards
MikeDecember 5, 2019 at 3:11 pm #1163015Hi,
You can use Enfold shortcodes as long as Enfold is the active theme. You can find The Events Calendar files in /enfold/config-events-calendar/ folder.

Thanks for your help.
We saw, that this what we want to do does not work with the free The Events Calendar version. We would need the PRO version of it.
So, you can close this issue.
Best regards
