    I would like to add a widget to hold our current business hours and status – Currently: Open 10am – 5pm. I ‘ve noticed a couple threads on how to do this but it doesn’t work when resizing the browser or viewing on mobile. The hours text overlaps my other information that I currently have in this area.

    That is because of the code added and the size of the elements.
    There is a need for some Custom Code based on media queries

    CSS Media Queries & Using Available Space

    If you still can not get it forward, please consider to hire someone to create the style and the elements there for you.
