    Hi
    I seem to have just noticed that my header positioning has changed which causes the elements (mainly the position of the secondary menu at the top.
    I appears a lot lower than usual. I try to see what may be causing it and tried to change a couple of CSS elements but when I found the one that fixed the issue and position the secondary menu higher, it seems the whole header area also gets smaller.

    Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

    My website link is here: https://silviafindings.com/

    Much appreciated.

    Hey Lyse,

    I’m not sure I understand what has changed, could you try to explain a bit further and let us know what exactly you want to change please?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Rikard
    My homepage first section contains a middle top content box which has a text block element in it. I use the WooCommerce product category shortcode there. That element is no longer displaying causing the issue that the page gets moved up into the header.

    My page always contained that element, I see it when I edit the page, but it does not display.

    Hope this clarifies things up a bit more. It’s so weird.

    Thanks

    Hi tremblayly,

    Could you please attach some screenshots of the issue?

    We do not really know what it is supposed to look like.

    Best regards,

    Hi Victoria,

    I’ve taken screenshots of my production homepage.

    Here’s the issue: https://snipboard.io/u58MAv.jpg
    (You can’t see the product categories above the NEW PRODUCTS section and the header does not look lined up to the top – you can see the secondary top menu is too low and the sidebars titles are not fully visible.

    Here’s a screenshot of my page content sections: https://snipboard.io/fO5n8j.jpg
    You’ll see in the first section of the page I have a text block element that displays the WooCommerce product categories. These don’t even show on the home page.

    Hope this clarifies thinks for you.

    Hi Victoria,
    I’ve resetted the password to the same one.
    I’ve added it again below.

    Your login will work on either the production or staging server. But please do not deactivate or change the theme on the production site

    Your can make whatever changes or troubleshoot all you want on the staging server: http://silviafindings.staging.wpengine.com/ (hosted on WPengine)

    Thanks

    Hi,
    Sorry for the late reply, to correct the space above the header please try this code in the General Styling > Quick CSS field or in the WordPress > Customize > Additional CSS field:

    #advanced_menu_toggle,#advanced_menu_hide {
    	display: none !important;
    }

    For the category shortcode not showing above the “NEW PRODUCTS”, I believe there was an error in your shortcode, I changed a little and put in a code block element and it seems to be working now.
    The added shortcode required some css to adjust the top padding, so I added this:

    .html_header_top.html_header_sticky #top #wrap_all #main{padding-top: 325px;}

    Please clear your browser cache and check.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    HI Mike,

    How wonderful that you have solve this issue in 4 days while all of the other support representatives that have looked at my problem never found a solution. I reported this problem on May 18th as a critical issue yet just now in a short time you looked at the issue your resolved it.

    I don’t know if others here pay for support but I know I always renew mine. For paying customers, I think that for paying supporters, their issues should be given priority over non-paying one.

    Thank you for your patience and fixing my critical and embarrassing problem as this was an issue with my production site and that customers have reported (and I could not fix it myself.)
