    Hello,
I’ve just upgraded to Enfold v3.0 and found that my Blog pages have dropped content that was configured to show in the right sidebar, down into the page footer.
In my blog Posts I’m configuring Layout: Right Sidebar and Sidebar Setting:Sidebar Blog – where Sidebar Blog contains a Feedburner Widget.
Following the update to Enfold v3, The Feedburner Widget is now showing in the footer area, along with the recent posts/comments/archives/categories/meta sections.
I’ve tried configuring the Enfold Sidebar Settings for both Sidebar on Blog Page and Sidebar on Single Post Entries to both no sidebar and right sidebar, however this has had no effect.
Could somebody please explain what I should do, or how to revert to the previous version of Enfold?

    Hi elinwood!

Go to your Appearance>Widgets in WordPress and move the widgets where you want them to show.

If any of the Widget areas (sidebars) get removed or shuffled it can cause the widgets inside of them to shift. One of your sidebar areas must have moved or been added to/removed and the shift in widgets is the result.

    Best regards,
    Devin

    Hi Devin,
Apologies I probably didn’t make it clear enough in my previous post that no changes had been made to any Widget Areas, Post layout settings or anything else.
The only change was the upgrade to Enfold v3.0.
I’ve since attempted to rebuild the relevant Widget Area, create a new custom Widget Area, and to try all of these in combination with all possible page layout settings on an example Post.
I’m clearing my Total Cache page cache every time, and also browser cache.
There is no change in the page layout after doing all of these things.
    Can you suggest anything else?
Is there anyone else experiencing problems like this (it seems like a fairly significant issue?)
As a last resort, is there a way to revert to the previous version of Enfold?
(Otherwise I’ll need to drop back to a backup of the entire web server, which seems to be a very inappropriate thing to need to do for a well tested release of Enfold?).
    Thanks Evan

    Hey!

No, please retain the Enfold 3.0 update. Give us a link to the actual page with the issue. We would like to check it. Did you modify anything on the theme? Or child theme?

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Ismael,
I haven’t modified anything in the theme beyond custom CSS, and I haven’t used child themes at all.

The blog can be seen at:

    http://www.arenacore.com/blog/single/

You’ll see there is a subscribe entry field and label at the bottom of the page – this is the Better Feedburner widget, and should have additional items (at least the Description).
This widget and the recent posts/comments/archives etc should all be appearing in the right sidebar.
If you look at any of the individual posts, the same problem is occurring – these have all been setup for the right side sidebar blog layout also.
    Thanks- Evan

    Hey!

    Thank you for the update.

Please edit Enfold > General Layout > Dimensions > Maximum Container width and Content | Sidebar Ratio. Save changes. See if that fix the sidebar area width issue. Regarding the widgets, still not sure why they’re not showing. Please give us a temporary login details. We would like to check it.

    Regards,
    Ismael

I have the same problem. I simply upgraded to V3.0 and made no other changes. The pages with sidebars now have the sidebar showing below the content area…not on the right as it previously did. I have checked the enfold theme settings and everything thing seems correct. Please help

    Hi!

    @Zrated09
: Please disable any cache or minify plugins then toggle any settings on Enfold > Theme Options then save changes to reset the cache.

    @elinwood
: I’m sorry but we need to debug the issue on Enfold 3.0. Please create a staging or test site if possible.

    Cheers!
    Ismael
