    I have an issue getting the Half Sized Blog Element (Single Author Style) aligned, because in full width mode the parent container has a class of .fullsize. When I enable the sidebar, everything starts displaying like it should, but my design calls for no sidebar. Is there an easy workaround, or do I have to overwrite css for every single element manually?

    No, you must overwrite the css code of the blog element. If you post a link to your blog page we can look into it.
