AuroraMay 18, 2019 at 3:25 am #1101961Hey AuroraArcus,
Sorry for the late reply, I have taken a look and some of your images don’t seem to be on your server anymore, please see the example link in the Private Content area.
Can you verify if the path to your images has changed, such as the /year/month/ and are the posts / pages that had these images are still there?
I see that you only have 2 posts and 10 pages. I not sure what could cause this, but I don’t believe updating Enfold would do this. Please try these steps.Best regards,
MikeMay 20, 2019 at 5:53 pm #1102530Hello Mike,
URGENT: my site is down!
I have followed the instructions in the link.
1. first I deactivated all plugins. This had no effect, so I reactivated them.
2. I then followed the procedures for the FTP under “WordPress Media Library Not Showing Images”. After applying this, I’m unfortunately unable to see any of the pictures for mindventure.dk in the browser now.
Can you help me out? I’ve added login details for FTP…
My wife and I are leaving on the 2nd of June for a 100 days biking trip in Scandinavia and the Baltic with our 2 kids and I need the site to be active, so I can run facebook ads leading to the page. I won’t be able to manage the site during these 100 days!
Kind regards,

After following the procedures in this instruction:
https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-image-upload-issue-in-wordpress/comment-page-2/I managed to get back to not having all the pictures gone (just like in the start of this post), by running permission with 755.
Problem still stands though! For some reasons a lot of my pictures are still not recognised and I don’t know why and how it can be solved!
May 22, 2019 at 3:33 pm #1103338After looking into the problem together with my host provider, I hope I’ve gotten wiser…
You asked me earlier as well:
Can you verify if the path to your images has changed, such as the /year/month/ and are the posts / pages that had these images are still there? I see that you only have 2 posts and 10 pages. I not sure what could cause this, but I don’t believe updating Enfold would do this.My answer: I’m pretty sure what has changed now. It is the path and it’s the end of it missing (or the original file is gone and only the “size” pictures are left). The part showing the size! How it happened, I don’t know why, but after updating, a lot of pictures are not showing. (Correct that I only have 10 pages and 2 posts (and 9 port folio items) and they are all still there)
To be more specific: I can now see that the problem is that for some images for some reason my site is not linking to the specific “size” (last part of the name – eg -1030×687) of the picture, but the original picture instead.
Example of picture having this problem on my site:
https://mindventure.dk/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Tak-Jonas-Raagaard401.jpgExample of a picture still working fine on my site:
https://mindventure.dk/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/Borgen10-1030×687.jpgWith the above in mind, I’m puzzled why a picture like this actually still works (it doesn’t have the size part of it in the end):
https://mindventure.dk/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/Riad4.jpgMy guess is that for some reason, the original file associating the right size of the picture, was somehow deleted during update or changed, but Im unsure of this.
Do you know what I should do? Is that an easy way to fix this or do I have to handle every file individually?

May 22, 2019 at 4:20 pm #1103382Just for reference:

[Error] Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 503 () (20181110_121113.jpg, line 0)Also, I have run through all the steps except number 3 in this link:
https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/beginners-guide-to-troubleshooting-wordpress-errors-step-by-step/May 22, 2019 at 4:44 pm #1103395FYI, the time each picture was uploaded seems to be the original…
May 24, 2019 at 11:14 am #1103895I’m quite disappointed in the effort given to this serious matter! It’s been 6 days without a reply!
Update: I’ve tried to manually correct some of pictures, but it’s still full of problems…
May 24, 2019 at 1:25 pm #1103922Hi,
Sorry for the late reply, and thanks for the ftp access. I was able to see that the images I checked that are giving the 404 error are not on your server, I’m not sure why they are missing from your server. Updating the theme would not affect the content in the “uploads” folder where the images are kept.
I also don’t see any plugins that would cause this issue. I see that you have the “UpdraftPlus” plugin, and the images I checked are available at: /public_html/wp-content/updraft/uploads-old/
So I tried copying these files and adding to: /public_html/wp-content/uploads/
It seems now that all of your images are available.
Please clear your browser cache and check.Best regards,
MikeMay 24, 2019 at 2:21 pm #1103929Hi Mike,
thanks for your amazing support! It works perfectly again! You really saved my day!
I can see the folders you are referring to, but I’m unable to understand how the problem started in the first place.
You can close the conversation and mark it as solved.
I realise you are great at what you are doing and if possible, it would be great if you could find a solution for showing facebook videos, as it is a major setback for my company (before I could put in the facebook video using a widget):
