    Enfold Team,

    We had a strange hack Saturday that was not very malicious but a pain to fix.

    It was only on our Enfold Themed Sites!

    We have the same plugins on the non Enfold theme sites and on the same servers and host and they did not get the hack. All of our themes are up to date to.

    Wanted to give a heads up and my testing showed the Enfold themes were the only ones compromised by: Hacked By Kuroi’SH

    Hey Steve!

    Sorry to hear about it. We are glad that you fixed it. Which version of the theme you were using? We are testing Enfold and all of our other themes frequently. Enfold had security improvements over time. My only guess is that you were using an older version if it is only theme related. Please consider using security plugins. And lastly, thanks for the heads up!

    Hi!

    Please let me add that there never was a known security flaw in Enfold which would allow a user to hack an entire website so I would heavily recommend to check any other software you are using as well. As Yigit suggested, using security plugins and keeping the theme as well as enfold up to date might help a lot ;)

    Hello Keymaster,

    I apologize in advance for writing to you here but I could not find any section to directly talk to support on Kriesi.at I have sent the same message to a moderator named Richard too. Don’t know who can help.
    Please tell me if there is a way to change username. My friend purchased this theme for me while I paid for it. HE has put his name as username and licensee. I really need to change it. Please help. I can’t use someone else’s name. Please release the account and remake it for me. I am sure there is a way to do it. really appreciate.

    @smoman maybe you have downloaded your theme from somewhere else instead of buying from kriesi ? if you download your theme from hacker sites the theme has a malware other codes in it so they can easy hack your site over that code
