I’m not sure when the issue began but Grid layout is sorting posts ascending. You can see here that the grid is pulling a post from January 2014, the first post of the category selected to pull.
I couldn’t find any threads in the forums open for this issue, so I was hoping you could take a look.
I’ve noticed this issue on more than one of the sites I manage using this theme.
Thank you.

Do you have it set to display only posts from the “homelife” category? If so then you only have one post assigned to that category.
Make sure your plugins are not changing the sorting. Also, you can change the order yourself by doing this, http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/change-the-sort-order-of-blog-posts-elements/.
Cheers!
ElliottSeptember 28, 2015 at 5:04 am #509784I have configured the blog post element to pull the “Message” category. When you click on that category you can see there are several dozen entries.

You’ll notice that it is displaying the entries in ascending order.
September 28, 2015 at 3:24 pm #510162Hi!
please follow the tutorial Elliott provided to you: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/change-the-sort-order-of-blog-posts-elements/
and let us know when you are done and still need help with it.Best regards,
AndySeptember 28, 2015 at 4:23 pm #510227I can do that.
Really quick, I feel like I’m not being heard. The posts used to order descending with newest post first (as described as the default behavior in the link provided).
After over a year using enfold on this site, WordPress press us sorting grid ascending, pulling the oldest post first which is not the default behavior.
I simply want to have the default behavior which is what enfold had been doing.
Does this make sense? A custom order solution is fine but when the default behavior is not happening by default there is a problem. Being someone who has used enfold for over two years, I would categorize this behavior as a bug.
Please advise if this is clear.
September 28, 2015 at 4:32 pm #510235Hey!
If that does not work for you then try deactivating all plugins to make sure they are not changing the query parameters.
You can send us a WordPress login so we can take a closer look.
