Hey guys,
Two things I need help with!
01. When people first go to my site http://www.ccyran.com/work
the fade in animations on my images load funny, along with the page itself. Can you click on this link and tell me if you see the same thing? I’ve tried it on 4 computers of people who have never been on this site before, the issue happens every time. But only the first time. Can you fix this?02. When the browser gets larger, lets say on a monitor or IMac, the fullbleed grid system falls apart. Images that I uploaded at 1920×1080 don’t stretch to fit. I created this grid system using “Image” media elements inside of the Grid row. Unlike the “fullwidth” easy slider element.
Can you fix this? My first solution would be either css you guys could provide. Or to update Enfold so that “Image” media elements have an option to stretch like the “fullwidth” easy slider element. I wanted to stick with images in a grid row because it’s very simple to see on the backend. If I use fullwidth easy slider, it just shows the icon. Plus this isn’t a slider. It’s a single image.
Thanks!
ChrisMarch 3, 2017 at 5:00 am #754788Hey ccyran,
I’m checking your site on windows and chrome and my screen resolution is 1920 x 1080 the whole site loads fine and the grid also looks fine. I do not see any issue with your site.
Please try to hard refresh by pressing Ctrl + Shift + F5 on your browser or press the F12 key to open chrome dev tools and right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload” and review the site again.

VinayMarch 3, 2017 at 7:40 am #754870Hi Vinay,
I tried that and no luck. As I mentioned, I tried this on 4 iMacs/monitors of people who have never been on my website and the same issue occurred. The screen first loaded awkwardly. Like in the middle of the page rather than the top.
And when I go past 1920×1080 width, the grid falls apart. Yes it works when the screen resolution is 1920×1080. But im talking about the issues faced when going past that. For example, on a larger Imac thats 2560×1440, it doesn’t work. It only works if I do fullwidth easy slider and select “stretch page”. But this method doesn’t work because it doesn’t fit within a grid row.
Here’s a entire page screengrab for reference: https://ibb.co/nLM7BF
You’ll see where it goes wrong. First on the image with the red cover,
Then the image with the hand holding the watch and the crown logo. Those two split apart.
Same thing on the next row, the two images split apart.
Futherdown, the magazine spread.
Again, the hand touching the laptop shot.**Hey Vinay, also posted a wetransfer link. This is a screen recording of the issue. Its really clear here.**
Please help! Best,

March 8, 2017 at 3:47 pm #757857Hi,
please update the theme, cause you’re using an old version. Consider using a cache plugin, as well as Jetpack’s function of Image Performance (Photon). You could also use a CDN service.
Also please deactivate all plugins one by one to check which one is causing this issue and let us know if this solves the problem.

AndyMarch 8, 2017 at 5:49 pm #757950Hi Andy,
**Edited this post**
I updated Enfold the the latest version, and deactivated the plugins one by one, but the grid is still breaking. The plugins are all SEO related, so I figured that wouldn’t be the issue.
I also tried photon and that didnt work either. It just compresses my images down to a point where it’s too pixelated.
Is there any CSS that can fix this? I wish the simple option would be for the “Image” element to have an option to extend fullscreen. The same way you can do that for video.
Hope you guys can solve this, I still believe in ya!
Thank you.

March 10, 2017 at 3:16 pm #758941Hi,
photon works fine for me, as well as a cache plugin like WP Super Cache.
You can play with different image sizes using a plugin like: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/
However, feel free to make a feature request for Kriesi here: https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/

AndyMarch 10, 2017 at 4:51 pm #759012Hi Andy,
Please let me know if my response makes sense. Photon isn’t solving the problem. Yes my images load faster at the cost of a heavy compression, but it is not solving the problem that made me start this thread. The issue isn’t going to be solved by installing different plugins to “optimize” the images.
The problem is that grid row elements do not act the same way they used to before the update. It literally creates weird margins between images when my browser width is below 1000 pixels. This never happened before the update.
And past 1920 is breaks. It’s not my images, it’s the way the grid row is behaving after this new Enfold update.
I would really appreciate if I can get help sooner with this :). I’m in the process of making some career changes and I need to present my website/update it with more content. I can’t until this is fixed.

ChrisMarch 17, 2017 at 2:33 pm #762503Hi,
of course things change as Kriesi improves the theme. Maybe there are some changes you don’t like. But as far as I can see it there are no weird margins on your website. Everything looks beautifully to me: http://i.imgur.com/aa3JiFy.png

AndyMarch 19, 2017 at 8:18 pm #763303Hey Andy, yep it works! Changed it to be masonry instead of using a bunch of grid cells.
I do need help thought with the layout of masonry. I think I’ll open up another thread for that.
