I can get into the WP backend but when I try and edit any page within the site, there’s a grey circle which stops the entire page from loading properly. I thought it was a temporary problem but it’s on-going and I cannot edit the site.
September 5, 2016 at 5:00 pm #682270Hey Annie!
Can you please create a temporary admin login and post it here privately? Also, we would need FTP logins if you do not mind.
Cheers!
YigitSeptember 5, 2016 at 5:14 pm #682279What is the FTP login you need refer to? Is that the Managed WordPress through the host (GoDaddy)?

September 5, 2016 at 8:45 pm #682352Hey!
I have checked, can you please ask your hosting provider to increase the php memory limit to 256M and please let us know if that wirll work for you?
Thanks a lot

BasilisSeptember 5, 2016 at 9:01 pm #682355Hey Basilis,
I will contact GoDaddy and ask them to address and hopefully this will fix the problem. I will let you know, thanks!
September 6, 2016 at 3:11 pm #682670The PHP memory was increased to 256 by GoDaddy yesterday, but it unfortunately didn’t fix the problem.
September 7, 2016 at 4:41 pm #683249Following up to see if you can help source and troubleshoot the problem. Still unable to edit any pages due to the pages not loading.
September 8, 2016 at 10:48 am #683605Hi,
Could you please try to overwrite the theme files with a fresh copy from your Themeforest account via FTP to see if that helps? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Best regards,
RikardSeptember 8, 2016 at 3:57 pm #683765Thank you. I uploaded the Enfold theme folder via FTP as recommended and unfortunately the problem still exists. Can you troubleshoot the problem?
September 8, 2016 at 4:04 pm #683769Hi!
FTP logins are not working for me. Can you please check them once again?
Cheers!
YigitSeptember 8, 2016 at 4:17 pm #683776The FTP credentials previously sent are correct. Just used and got in via FileZilla. I originally contacted GoDaddy about the “Unknown host key” pop-up window and they said disregard and hit OK. They also said to the Port number is required.
September 8, 2016 at 11:33 pm #683923Checking in on status. I haven’t been able to go in and edit the site since Sunday. Were you able to access FTP?
September 9, 2016 at 4:17 pm #684234Hi,
I re-installed the theme and tried de-activating all plugins etc. Did not work. However i created a new admin account and checked if ALB loads correctly and it did.
Best regards,
YigitSeptember 13, 2016 at 2:20 pm #685787Hey!
We were able to identify the root of the problem. The new Enfold version 3.8 should fix the issue for good, on old accounts, old or new ;)
Please update and let us know if it helped. Make sure to clear your browser cache after updating ;)Cheers!
KriesiSeptember 13, 2016 at 4:37 pm #685904Thanks for following-up and being able to find the root problem. Version 3.8 was installed on all sites. Kriesi, I love your custom template — keep it up!
