Hello,
I have a issue with Google reCaptcha. I followed the instructions to use Google reCaptcha on my website. I created the two keys for Google reCaptcha v2 (“I’m not a robot”) and put it in my Enfold options for Google services, there was no error message. I’m using the standard contact form provided by Avia builder and selected the option “Use Google reCaptcha v2 when activated”.
But there is an error message now on my website:
“This contact form is deactivated because you refused to accept Google reCaptcha service which is necessary to validate any messages sent by the form.”
There is no “Send” button anymore. What did I wrong? What can I do to use the reCaptcha?
Thanks in advance,

I’m still waiting for an answer for my issue. Thank you.

May 13, 2020 at 1:50 pm #1212614Hey,
is there any chance to get some kind of feedback to this issue? My client is waiting for his site to be completed, but I can’t complete the site without a working contact form.
Thanks.
Best regards
May 15, 2020 at 11:47 am #1213241Hi,
We are sorry for the late reply!
I went to Enfold theme options > Privacy and Cookies > Cookie Handling and enabled “Show advanced options” and then chose to reload the page after clicking accept/reject buttons and it showed up on my end. Attached a screenshot in private content field. Could you please try once again and confirm?
Please make sure cookies are enabled on your browser settings as well :)

May 15, 2020 at 3:01 pm #1213301Hello Yigit,
thanks for the reply!
Sadly that doesn’t work for me. I emptied all my caches, opened incognito tab, clicked “Yes” for accepting all cookies (the page was reloaded at this moment) and there is still the same error message. In every browser.
May 15, 2020 at 3:50 pm #1213316Hi,
I noticed that you are using “User must accept and must opt-in. Only essential cookies selected” option. So Google cookies are not accepted until user opts in. I adjusted your cookie setting options and chose to display a badge at the bottom left and added a “cookie settings” button in cookie bar so your visitors can adjust the settings as needed.
To test it, please simply open cookie modal window by clicking “Cookie Einstellungen” button and enable Google reCaptcha cookies and save :)Best regards,
YigitMay 15, 2020 at 3:55 pm #1213319Aaaaahhh, thanks, that worked!
But to be honest: It’s just unpossible to keep this cookie settings. Not every user knows how to set this option for himself, even I didn’t know about this option.
Which cookie settings would you recommend? Or is there any way to set Google reCaptcha as the neccessary option?
Thanks again.
May 18, 2020 at 9:16 am #1213947Hi,
You could try using second option “User must accept and can opt out, all selected by default”. We would still recommend you to keep “Cookie settings” button so in case your users would like to opt-out, they can simply do so in cookie settings :)
