    Hi team Enfold

    I know this is probably no theme-related issue, but I was hoping you could give me a hint about where to find a solution.
    I have this client who noticed that if he shares a link to one of the portfolio items on his website, not all portfolio items show a preview image next to the link when shared via social media like WhatsApp. He would love for all of the links to show preview images, but I can’t find the problem in the website. I have to add that for one portfolio item category the preview images do show up, for other categories they don’t.

    I added some examples in the private content, you can also find a link to a temporary login there.

    Hi,

    Please try installing a plugin like Yoast SEO, that will give you the option to set the image which you want to use when sharing on social networks.

    We are already using Yoast. I set an image for sharing to Facebook now, and that seems to have also fixed the issue when manually sharing a link via WhatsApp or other social media. Thanks!

    Ok I take that back. So I added images in Yoast under social, but still no preview images for most of the links when sharing.

    Of course, I understand. In the meantime, I found that there is no issue with Yoast or anything else on the website etc. Apparently, WhatsApp just sometimes does not share thumbnails with links. When I share those same links on Facebook Messenger or another messaging service, the thumbnails do appear.
