Hi!
My google maps suddenly stopped showing maps. I was already updated to enfold 3.0.4. I downloaded the theme again and overwrote the entire enfold folder. My WordPress already was on 4.0.1.
I’ve already tried disabling al the plugins.
I’m using the child theme by the way.One of Kriesi’s plugin-tips was WP Google Maps so I thought i’d give that a trie, but I don’t seem to get that plugin to show my google maps full width in the header (because that’s what I want).
On the contact page (see private content) I’v put in your widget (showing a blank space) and the WP Google Maps beneath it.
Could you please have a look and see what’s the problem?December 15, 2014 at 10:40 pm #368628Hey Maikel!
I checked your website and maps show up fine on my end – http://i.imgur.com/6XzQIyc.png
Please flush browser cache and refresh your page a few times.Regards,
YigitDecember 15, 2014 at 10:56 pm #368637Hi Yigit,
Thanks for the quick response!
I did that already, but no succes. I opened the site on 3 different computers and even in different browsers on which i previously didn’t open the site on.Isn’t the map you’re seeing the map from the plugin ‘WP Google maps’? That map works and is directly above the text. But the white space above that map is the space that the enfold widget map should be shown in as I described above.
Could you please check that?

Please remove the WP Google Maps plugin. The default google map is working fine on the test page: http://www.hetwilderinkhuis.nl/test/

Huh?….. I’m going crazy… You didn’t change anything? I see you enabled some sort of debug window to see coding of the page beneath the AV-content, but you didn’t edit anything? Very strange… And the fetching-coordinates-button wasn’t there yesterday (i think). But hey, it’s working now, so I’m very grateful. Thanks again for the great support!
One small thing though. In the latest version of Safari (Version 8.0.2 (10600.2.5) on my iMac running Yosemite the tooltips of the map sometimes don’t fit on one line so a scrollbar appears and you can’t read the title completely.
December 16, 2014 at 4:23 pm #368953Hey!
Please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under General Styling tab
.gm-style-iw { overflow: auto !important; }
Best regards,
YigitDecember 16, 2014 at 4:35 pm #368961Hi Yigit,
I added the code but unfortunately that didn’t solve the problem. With two of the tooltips the width stays fixed and therefore adds a scrollbar.
best regards,
