Hi guys,
I know google updated the maps api and I followed all the comments here. I created an api (2 actually to test) and couldn’t get it to work.
I added the api in the enfold theme settings as outlined.
Added the google map widget to footer and saved and also deleted cache and still get this error: Oops! Something went wrong.
This page didn’t load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details.I’ve spend too long on this already. I am just going to embed a map from google for the time being, but I would like to get this squared away asap as I am trying to make a big site launch.
I will include my credentials below if you could test adding the map to the footer and see if you can find the problem please.

August 9, 2016 at 11:10 pm #670549My maps are working now. I gave up on trying to make it work with Enfold. I removed the key from the Enfold settings, then installed the plugin: “API KEY for Google Maps” and pasted it in there instead. Pressed refresh and now the widget shows the map. It’s the wrong location, but I think that’s a different problem.
August 10, 2016 at 1:35 am #670564Google maps not working on this end either. (I’ve reposted this on the larger of the threads on this topic.)

August 12, 2016 at 5:27 pm #671931Hi,
If you insert your domain in this field – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2016/08/step_4.png, please make sure to insert it as following
yourdomain.com/*Other than that Gmaps worked for other users. Only some is having issues and since we do not have access to their Google account, we are not really able to look very deep into the issue

August 18, 2016 at 2:56 am #673972Hi,
The google map element is working in this test page. http://www.mistralkop.com/test-g/
Please remove browser cache or hard refresh the page.
Best regards,
IsmaelAugust 18, 2016 at 1:34 pm #674163That’s great… but it’s still not working in the footer widget area like I previously mentioned.
Did you try that?
I inserted the map widget.. Deleted all cache on my site. Opened a different browser and cleared all cookies and cache and still the map will not work in a widget.
It flickers and shows the map and then goes to the error message. Here is a screencast: http://screencast.com/t/egpBYeXneET
Please let me know.
I’m going to remove the footer widget as it’s a live site.

August 23, 2016 at 12:11 pm #676332Hi,
I see it on your end, but I can’t reproduce the issue on our end. So can you upgrade your WordPress at first please? to check if things get better afterwards for you? Which provider/host are you using?
Best regards,
Andy -
