I’ve read over other similar posts first. I have:
* confirmed that the API key is correct
* made sure that the site API referrers are correct (*carolinamassageinstitute.com/*)
* I tried manually editing the PHP file as described here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/google-maps-api-error-missingkeymaperror-3I recently changed the URL of the site, if that has any bearing (from a dev URL to the live one). Maps were working with no API key before going live.

September 1, 2016 at 2:57 pm #680756Hi,
please delete all your API keys you created for your domain inside your Google Account. Afterwards create a new one in this format:
*.carolinamassageinstitute.com/*
Let us know if this helps!
Best regards,
AndySeptember 1, 2016 at 3:23 pm #680770That didn’t fix things.
The problem appeared to be tied to the footer (widget) version of the map. So we removed that and used an image instead. When the widget map was removed, the map on the home page loaded fine.
I deleted the keys and set the referrer as you instructed. The map on the homepage loaded fine. Then I turned back on the widget map and both broke with the “oops” message.
I also tried visiting a page that just had the footer map (wondering if 2 maps on the same page was the prob), but the footer map there didn’t work, either.
I’ve asked my client to put a properly-configured widget in the “inactive widgets” area if you want to test using the credentials I supplied.

September 5, 2016 at 12:32 pm #682096Hi,
again please check “Step 4” of our updated documentation: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-register-a-google-maps-api-key/
Especially check the “IMPORTANT” note.

AndySeptember 6, 2016 at 12:54 pm #682584Yes – this is the same advice you gave me in your previous response. I’ve done that.
It appears that Enfold has a problem with the footer map widget (as detailed in the other thread I linked to).
If I add a single map in a page, it works fine. If I add a widget map to the footer, I get the “oops” error.
September 6, 2016 at 1:41 pm #682606Hi,
alright, thanks for being patient. Kriesi needs to investigate more about it, as it is difficult to reproduce the issue, because it’s not happening for everyone. We might need some time to figure out what the issue is about.
Best regards,
