    Hello Enfold-Support,

    as many other users we have added a billing account to our Google Project and created a new API Key for Google Maps.
    When I enter the API Key in Enfold i get the confirmation that the connection to google maps could be established.
    But the map is still showing greyed out and the console shows the error “Google Maps JavaScript API warning: NoApiKeys”

    Now here comes the interesting part:
    On our playground website I added the Enfold-Google Maps Element and also embedded a mapview via Plugin “WPGoogle Maps” on the same page for testing purposes.
    All of a sudden the Enfold-Maps-Element isn’t greyed out anymore despite the API-Error still showing up in the console.
    As soon as i delete the embedded map of the “WPGoogle Maps”-Plugin the enfold-maps-element is greyed out again.

    I’m not sure at this point what is creating this error but it definitely seems to be the maps-element in Enfold, as the third-party plugin works perfectly fine and even seems to override the API-key-error for the enfold-element when on the same page.

    Hey Niemitz (www.bios-tec.de),

    Ich habe jetzt am Playground alle Plugins deaktiviert und auf Enfold umgeschaltet (damit ich sichergehen kann, dass kein Child Theme Code den Fehler verursacht) und die Karte wird nun bei mir richtig angezeigt. Ich gehe daher davon aus, dass entweder ein Plugin und/oder der Child Theme Code den Fehler verursacht. Ich würde daher empfehlen zuerst die Plugins einzeln zu aktivieren und nachzusehen, wo der Fehler wieder auftritt.

    Fehler gefunden:
    Wenn das Plugin “WD Form Maker Pro” deaktiviert ist funktioniert auch das Maps-Element wieder.
    Eigentlich gibt es in Form Maker keine Einstellungsmöglichkeiten die nahelegen, dass in irgendeiner Form API-Keys ausgelesen werden oder ich das in irgendeiner Form beeinflussen könnte.

    Ich hab hier beim Hersteller Webdorado mal eine Anfrage gestellt und warte auf Feedback.

    Hi,

    Es wäre zB auch möglich dass irgendein Code hinzugefügt wird, der anderen HTML/JS Code invalide macht. Ich bin mal auf die Antwort gespannt.

    nochmal finales Feedback:
    Nach einem Update vom Form Maker Plugin auf die aktuelle Version funktioniert wieder alles einwandfrei.
    Vielen Dank für die schnelle Hilfe – Thread kann geschlossen werden.
