    Hello,

when i am put the coordinates from Google maps manually into the map widget, the marker position is different to the position in Google maps? Is it a little bug or the resolution of the widget is to low?

    Thanks for help.

    Hey tanjarose,
I tested the Google map widget on my install and found that the widget and the map site were the same, both were off a little. Did you use the fetch address button in the widget or put the numbers in directly? I tried many zoom settings and all were about the same. Do you have any other Google map plugins? Do you want to send your address with screenshots of both to show what you see? We could test on a clean install to see if we get the same results.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hey Mike,
    thank you for your answer!
I attached a couple of screenshots. One is Enfold and the other is from Google Maps.
All the same data but different marker postition?

    Hi,
If I type in your address into Google Maps I get this map:
    2018-01-15_201920
If I type in the numbers I get this map:
    2018-01-15_202159
Which matches the Enfold / Google map:
    2018-01-15_202348
I would like to say it’s a Google interpretation error, numbers are absolute words are not. For example I’m looking for a new house and sometimes “Google Street View” is very wrong and is way down the street, and other times “Google Maps” shows the house in the woods, far from the street. I would adjust the numbers to show the pointer where you want and use that.

    Best regards,
    Mike
