    Hi Enfold Support!
    On a DEV Website I have a Problem with the Google Maps API – I can’t verify the API-Key in the Backend (Could not connect to Google Maps with this API Key.) And the map is not showing up.
    Google Error is:

    Google Maps API warning: RetiredVersion https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#retired-version

    I think the API Key is set up correctly, no restrictions and the Domain is verified at Google Webmasters.
    I already disabled all plugins and don’t use any CDN or cache yet.
    Would be great if you can check & help.

    Hi, finally found out that the Geocoding API was not activated.
    Wondering why Google needs two apis to be activated? Seems to be new. Maybe you should update your Howto?
    Google Maps Geocoding API & Google Maps JavaScript API need to be activated.
