Hi,
So I followed all the directions, verified site ownership in Google Search Console, regenerated an API key, and this is the response that I get from Enfold’s Google Services tab:Could not connect to Mailchimp with this API Key. Please try again with a different key
You might also want to check your internet connection and make sure that mailchimp.com is availableSo, I know I keep getting told that it’s a problem with what I’m doing in google, but that that seriously indicates otherwise!
Now I saw a thread where Yigit said to manually re-update the theme–that’s not possible for us. First of all, no idea how to do so. Second, we’ve got a client review tomorrow. Third and most importantly, the problem existed before I applied the last update. Any ideas? Seems like a lot of folks are having Google Maps issues.
Thanks!

I can see the map on the contact page and no error. We cannot affect what is happening in your process of registration of keys in Google console.
If you need further assistance please let us know.

Thanks, but you have to click “Check API key”, THEN you get a message about Mail Chimp, which I have seen another user report.
“Could not connect to Mailchimp with this API Key. Please try again with a different key.
You might also want to check your internet connection and make sure that mailchimp.com is available”That has nothing to do with a bad API key or incomplete configuration in Google Search Console (because you’d get an error message regarding your GOOGLE api key. According to Yigit replying to a different user, Enfold’s update feature did not do it’s job properly.
I’ve asked an extremely experienced developer who has done a ton of work for my employer, and he says it’s bad CSS. He even checked to make sure everything was good inside the search console.
Honestly it just seems like 4.1 has a lot of bugs. This is likely my 10th Enfold build and it has been by far the most problematic. I see a lot of other users reporting a host of very random problems.
Please help!
July 23, 2017 at 2:34 am #828542Hi,
Could you please provide a link to the actual page with the “mailchimp error”? I can’t see it in the home page and when I checked the google map api key in the Enfold > Google Services panel, I found the following error.
Google Maps API error: DeletedApiProjectMapError https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#deleted-api-project-map-error
The API key is not valid anymore because the actual google api project has been deleted.

IsmaelJuly 25, 2017 at 9:39 pm #829810Hi all,
So our developer figured it out while doing some other stuff. Apparently PHP code that grabs the API key was living in Child Theme CSS (not my doing). Moved it to the appropriate spot and viola, API validated.
