    I’ve registered an API Key on google:

    but I couldn’t to Google Maps with this API Key.

    Hi Basilis,
    thanks for your answer.

    I’m using the Google API’s free trial and still have 349 days left.
    so why would I need to add my credit cart?

    Hi!

    Please check if the “Maps JavaScript API” is enabled and not restricted. If you have trouble translating addresses into geographical locations, please verify that the Google Maps Geocoding API is enabled in the Google Maps API Manager.     the Enfold Child theme uses the old code of google maps. see here:

    in our website (with Enfold Child theme) we have the 3.30 version, which no longer works:

    Hi,

    You need to update your child theme, that is not something we can do somehow to help you out.
    Who did those modifications to your web site?

    why are you saying that I need to update my child theme?
    this code doesn’t come from the child theme, but from the parent theme ( i.e. enfold theme )

    Hi,
    It is correct that the version of Enfold you are using, v4.2.3, is using the old Google Maps code.
    Please update your theme to v4.4.1 which uses the current Google Maps code.

    The theme doesn’t ask for an update. Under “Themes” there’s a message “Your themes are all up to date”.
    So please send me a ZIP file of your latest Enfold version, and we’ll install it manually.

    Hi,
    Please download the latest version from your Theme Forest account, and update manually via FTP: https://vimeo.com/67209750
    Please note that if you update via FTP, you will need to remove the old theme folder first then upload the new enfold folder.
    Please don’t try to overwrite the theme folder, as this will leave old files behind and cause a error.
