    Hi,

    I am having an issue with verifying my Google Maps API Key.

    I have checked all the following:
    1. Disabled all plugins
    2. Checked the the key has been typed in correctly
    3. The key has no restrictions set on it

    This is also a new key that I have created today. The previous key was working correctly from about a month ago and then today it was not working anymore.
    WordPress, theme and plugins are all up to date.

    Please could you kindly assist.

    Hey Paul,

    I tried adding the key under Enfold->Google Services but I couldn’t connect either, this is the error message I’m seeing: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#invalid-key-map-error. I’m not sure but it seems like something is wrong with the key, could you try to generate a new one to see if that helps please?

    Where do you see that error message?

    I regenerated a new key but the issue still seems to persist :(

    Hi,

    Thanks for that, I added the new key but it still can’t connect. The error message I’m seeing is in private. Did you add billing to the Google account which you created the key with? You can see error messages if you inspect the page with your browser.

    Hey Rikard,

    Oh okay. In the Dev Tools Console. I thought it was some specific tool you were using.

    I just signed up for the free 365-day trial with $300 credit. All seems good now :)

    Weird how I never had this setup and all was working fine and then it suddenly wasn’t.
