Hi guys
I know that this is a common problem after Google updated their services, but I’ve read through all the support forums and still haven’t been able to solve it on my end. I keep getting the error “Could not connect to Google Maps with this API key”. I have set up billing through Google, and I have attached a screen shot of my API screen.
Could you take a look? Credentials provided in the Private Content area.
Thanks in advance!
JonApril 12, 2019 at 10:44 pm #1090162Sorry for the second message, the theme doesn’t want to save my invalid Google Maps API, so I am inserting it here in the Private Content area. Thanks again!
Look forward to hearing from you.

April 15, 2019 at 3:05 pm #1090979Hi,
Thanks for that. I added the Google API key to the theme backend and it seems to be working:
We were able to properly connect to google maps with your API key
Could you check out if everything is working as it should?
Best regards,
RikardApril 15, 2019 at 3:20 pm #1090987Hey Rikard
Thanks! I see that too, but now when I go to the maps page I get the error “This Page Can’t Load Google Maps Correctly”. See attached screen shot. https://imgur.com/j4VQUVx
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
JonApril 16, 2019 at 1:49 am #1091172I had the same issue (I think) and have enabled the GeoCoding API and had to set Application restrictions.
HTTP referrers:
http://myurl.com
http://*.myurl.com/*Now it’s working. Maybe try that :)
April 16, 2019 at 8:13 am #1091282Hi Jon,
Thanks for the update, I see that on my end too. You are getting an error message related to billing, are you using the same API key on other sites too maybe?
Best regards,
