Hi there,
I just updated my own and some client website to WP 4.6 and Enfold 3.7.1 and have issues with my Google maps showing up. I created API keys and added them to the themes options but still the error persists. See for example http://www.der-prinz.de/kontakt/ at the bottom of that page.
When the page loads the map appearsa for the fragment of a second and then the error message appears and stays.
Any suggestions?
Cheers

August 29, 2016 at 3:12 pm #678963Hi,
Authentication required. Can you please post these logins as well?
Also, if you inserted your domain here – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2016/08/step_4.png please make sure to insert it as following

YigitAugust 30, 2016 at 10:34 am #679314Hi Yigit,
sorry but I forgot about the extra authentification.
You can try it on my other site (doesn´t need the auth thing). Credentials attached. The issue is located at http://hoobs-hof.de/kontakt/
Thanks
MichaelAugust 30, 2016 at 12:10 pm #679355Hi,
I tried to troubleshoot this issue but the login credentials you provided do not work for me. The WP admin page is password protected. Would you mind checking once again and then send us working login credentials?
The user role for the account you send us should be set to ‘administrator’ so we can try to disable all plugins and add custom code (if necessary) to resolve the issue.
Google services like the map feature is now constrained to work with an API key. It is easy to get the Google API key please refer to this link
Add your API key in the theme options Enfold > Google Services
While setting up the API key make sure to add
/*
at the end of your site name in the API options.Example http://kriesi.at/*
I have created the API key for testing purpose please find it in the private content. Add it to Google services section in the Enfold theme options and let us know if it works.
If it does not use a plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/api-key-for-google-maps/
Best regards,
VinaySeptember 6, 2016 at 8:57 am #682504Hi there,
sorry for my late response. For some reason it still does not work on http://www.der-prinz.de/kontakt/. I removed the directory protection login and added the WP login data below in the private section (testet: they work).I also followed the steps for generating the API key. Currently I added your API key as advised. Still doesn´t work.
Hope you can help me.
Cheers

September 7, 2016 at 8:35 pm #683353Hi,
Please check your website now we have added a test API key from my account and it works fine now. Please create a new API key as suggested by Google from your account and add it to theme options it should work for you :)
Best regards,
VinaySeptember 8, 2016 at 9:56 am #683586Seems like I´m too stupid to create an API key correctly. I created a new one and it still does not work. Same issue over and over again. Don´t know what I´m doing wrong. The API key I created has no domain restrictions.
But when I look at the dashboard of my API project it says “no APIs active”. When I click on “activate” I get a list of almost 100 different APIs and I have no idea what to do.
Any idea?
MichaelSeptember 8, 2016 at 11:32 am #683621After playing around with the API stuff I finally managed it. Works now.
Thanks for the support
